Privacy Policy

I'm Saurabh Upadhyay, an individual sole proprietor in Mumbai, India, and I'm the data fiduciary for personal data described here, as the term is used in the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). This policy covers this website and the software and subscriptions I sell. Individual apps may have their own privacy policy covering what happens inside the app; where they do, that policy applies too.

This website

This site has no analytics, no cookies, no trackers, no ads, and no forms. I don't collect anything when you browse it.

Two things happen that you should know about:

• Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
• Fonts. Pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers when you open a page.

What I collect when you buy or contact me

• Account and billing details — name, email address, and, where tax law requires it, billing address or GSTIN.
• Payment records — amount, date, plan and transaction ID. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by the payment gateway; I never see or store them.
• Emails you send me — so I can reply and help you.
• Data you put into a service — stored only to provide the service to you.

Why I use it

Only to provide what you bought, bill you, send receipts and important service notices, answer support requests, and meet legal and tax obligations. I don't sell personal data, use it for advertising, or share it except with the payment gateway and hosting providers needed to run the service, or where the law requires it.

How long I keep it

• Account data: while your account is active, then deleted within 90 days of closure.
• Billing and transaction records: as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires (currently up to 8 years).
• Support emails: up to 2 years after the conversation ends.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask me to:

• tell you what personal data I hold about you and how it's used;
• correct, complete or update it;
• erase it, where I'm not required by law to keep it;
• withdraw consent you've given (this may mean I can no longer provide the service);
• nominate someone to exercise these rights for you in case of death or incapacity.

I'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with my response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS and stored with providers that use industry-standard security. If a breach affects your personal data, I'll notify you and the Data Protection Board as the DPDP Act requires.
